Jazlyn is an associate at Mortenson Taggart Adams LLP. She has focused her practice on representing franchisors, franchisees, area developers, manufacturers, and distributors since graduating from law school. She advises and represents clients in complex commercial matters involving intellectual property rights, breach of contract, franchise and distribution, and unfair competition. She has represented clients during all steps of the dispute process, including negotiation, mediation, and litigation. Jazlyn has worked with clients in a variety of industries including fitness centers, quick-service restaurants, and other franchised businesses. She represents clients in both state and federal court and in arbitration.
Jazlyn earned her J.D. from the University of California, Irvine School of Law. While in law school, Jazlyn won Runner-Up Best Brief and placed as a Top 16 Moot Court Competitor in the UCI School of Law Moot Court Competition. Jazlyn received an award for her work in the Domestic Violence Clinic, representing abuse survivors and their children in restraining order and family law trials. She earned multiple Pro Bono Achievement awards for her work with organizations providing pro bono legal assistance, including Public Law Center and Community Legal Aid SoCal.
In her free time, Jazlyn enjoys running and hiking around Southern California. She also spends time reading autobiographies and cooking for her family.
