Bingham v. Scott (San Bernardino Superior Court) – Obtained $3,300,000 jury verdict for client in case involving fraud, conversion, dependent adult financial abuse, and dependent adult neglect.
Gonzalez v. Ford Motor Co. (C.D. Cal.) – Prevailed on all claims against Ford Motor Company in lawsuit brought in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, obtaining dismissal at the pleading stage of CLRA and UCL claims and then winning summary judgment on the remaining Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act claims.
Nunez v. Ford Motor Co. (C.D. Cal.) – Prevailed on all claims against Ford Motor Company in lawsuit brought in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California by winning summary judgment on the Plaintiff’s Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act claims.
Garza v. Ford Motor Co. (C.D. Cal.) – Won summary judgment for Ford Motor Company in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California based on argument that the plaintiff should be judicially estopped from pursuing her claims.
Andrew Gahan is a partner at Mortenson Taggart. Andrew is an experienced trial attorney and litigator who has handled a wide range of litigation matters for a diverse set of clients, including automotive manufacturers, contractors, pharmaceutical companies, pet food manufacturers, beverage companies, and individuals. Andrew recently received recognition in Top Verdict™ for his trial success where he helped obtain a $3,300,000 verdict in a case involving fraud, conversion, and claims of dependent adult financial abuse and neglect.
Andrew devotes a considerable amount of his practice to representing automotive manufacturers and suppliers in class action and consumer litigation in state and federal courts. Andrew’s experience includes defending automotive clients in cases involving fraud-based claims; warranty claims under the Commercial Code, California’s Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act and Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act; and claims under California’s Consumer Legal Remedies Act and Unfair Competition Law. Andrew’s representation of manufacturers includes defending against product liability claims in state and federal courts involving claims for strict liability and wrongful death.
Like all of Mortenson Taggart LLP’s attorneys, Andrew is dedicated to pro-bono work, including devoting a considerable amount of time litigating a case on behalf of a local Orange County resident who suffers from Muscular Dystrophy as well as serving on the Associate Board of the Orange County Constitutional Rights Foundation.
