Christopher F. Wilson brings a distinguished legal career spanning over four decades, with expertise in litigation, alternative dispute resolution, and transactional matters across a broad range of industries. A graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law, Chris began his legal career as a Captain in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps, where he gained extensive trial experience as a prosecutor, defense counsel, and magistrate while serving with the 8th Infantry Division (Germany), 5th Corps (Germany), and 7th Infantry Division (California).
Following his military service, Chris spent nearly a decade at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, where he represented both U.S. and international clients in litigation, bankruptcy, and arbitration matters. During this time, he developed significant expertise in construction law, real estate disputes, and complex commercial litigation. He was also actively involved in international discovery and investigations related to U.S.-based disputes.
Chris later established Christopher Wilson & Associates, where he built a thriving litigation and transactional practice focused on contract disputes, real estate transactions, insurance coverage matters, professional malpractice claims, bankruptcy, and appellate litigation. Over the course of his career, he has served as lead trial counsel in more than 30 cases, successfully handling mediations, summary judgment motions, arbitrations, and appeals. He is known for his pragmatic approach to dispute resolution, balancing aggressive advocacy with strategic negotiations.
A recognized leader in alternative dispute resolution, Chris was a founding board member of the ADR Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, where he played a pivotal role in shaping mediation and arbitration practices in Southern California. He has also been a frequent author and speaker, publishing articles in Los Angeles Lawyer, California Lawyer, and the Daily Journal on topics such as mediation procedures, deposition strategies, and jury trial techniques.
