Defends automotive clients in litigation involving fraud-based claims and warranty disputes under the California Commercial Code, Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act, and the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act.
As a prosecutor with the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office, argued various pre-trial motions, conducted dozens of preliminary hearings, and completed several jury trials.
Genesis is an associate attorney at Mortenson Taggart Adams (MTA), where she defends automotive clients in litigation involving fraud-based claims and warranty disputes under the California Commercial Code, Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act and the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology, Law, and Society, with a Minor in Psychological Sciences from the University of California, Irvine in June 2020. Genesis went on to earn her Juris Doctorate from the University of La Verne, College of Law, in May 2024. During law school, she was awarded two CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for earning the highest grades in Trial Advocacy and in Legal Writing.
Prior to joining MTA, Genesis served as a prosecutor with the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office. During her time there, she argued various pre-trial motions, conducted dozens of preliminary hearings, and completed several jury trials, ultimately gaining invaluable courtroom experience and a strong foundation in advocacy.
