Jake Moawad is an Associate Attorney at Mortenson Taggart Adams. Jake is a business litigation associate primarily focused on litigation on behalf of automobile manufacturers and other corporations. His practice includes defending automotive clients in cases involving fraud-based claims, and warranty claims under the Commercial Code, California’s Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act, and Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act.
Jake completed his undergraduate studies at The Ohio State University, where he double majored in chemical engineering and economics. Jake was an active member of his fraternity, Phi Kappa Tau, and the Undergraduate Student Government. Jake then attended law school at Santa Clara University School of Law as a Deans Fellow. In law school, Jake studied a wide breadth of law, including intellectual property, business and corporate law, and securities law. Jake was awarded the Witkin Award for Excellence for the highest grade in his Constitutional law class.
In his free time, Jake enjoys spending time with his friends and with his pet dog. Jake is an amateur photographer and competitive video game player. Jake aspires to visit all National Parks, and has visited 8 to date.
