As a former Vice President of Partnership Activation for AEG Global Partnerships, Kelly Staley was responsible for managing and supporting sponsorship activation for corporate assets of the Amgen Tour of California. In her role, Staley lead the execution of all elements for Tour of California partners, including promotions, grassroots and VIP events, broadcasts, signage, logistics and hospitality, while developing new activation concepts for partners to help provide maximum return on investment for the event.

Having worked on the Amgen Tour of California since the race’s inception in 2006, Staley joined AEG in 2003, where she led initiatives for the Los Angeles Kings and several sporting events at Dignity Health Sports Park (formerly known as Home Depot Center), including LA Galaxy, WTA Tennis, track & field, AVP volleyball, track cycling, lacrosse and the grand opening of the facility. Prior to joining AEG, Staley worked with the Phoenix Coyotes for six seasons as Director, Corporate Sales and Services after the team relocated from Winnipeg.

More recently, Staley and three (3) of her former AEG colleagues started an event production company, reBUILD20. Born out of the pandemic and with intent to ideate protocols and augment tools, best practices were shared in order to assist organizers, promoters, cities and live event production through the Covid and post Covid era. The focus was largely on prioritization of safety, financial impact, and perception/optics.

In addition, Kelly also worked as Sr. Director of Global Partnerships for the innovative sports start up, Supersapiens.  The technology was developed in an effort to help athletes optimize energy, exercise and recover with personal, real-time glucose insights.  During her time with Supersapiens, Kelly managed a multitude of events and partnerships including, Ironman, Giro d’Italia, Milano Marathon, Haute Route, Gran Fondo Strade Bianchi, Gran Fondo Il Lombardia, UTMB, Mallorca 312, among others.

Staley was born and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona and graduated from The University of Tulsa in 1996, where she played Division I tennis on a full scholarship.  She currently resides in Laguna Niguel, CA.
