Rob is a Partner at Mortenson Taggart Adams LLP. He is an experienced trial lawyer and litigator who has completed over 50 jury trials to verdict during the course of his career. He handles a wide array of litigation matters, including representing auto manufacturers, consumer product companies, and individuals.
Rob’s current practice largely involves representing auto manufacturers in consumer litigation matters in state and federal court. These include fraud allegations, warranty claims under the Song-Beverly Consumer Warrant Act and the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, and claims under California’s Consumer Legal Remedies Act and Unfair Competition Law. He has also assisted clients in navigating class action cases.
Prior to joining Mortenson Taggart Adams, Rob was a criminal prosecutor for over 17 years. During that time he handled a number of high profile cases, including those involving homicide, consumer fraud, embezzlement, and child abuse. His cases have been featured in various media outlets including Fox News, NBC, and local stations. He has also taught various courses throughout California on pre-litigation matters, trial advocacy, and legal ethics.
Rob is a member of the Riverside County Bar Association. He previously volunteered for nearly a decade as a coach for local high school Mock Trial teams, and served as a mentor for at-risk youth at his alma matter high school.
