On May 30, 2020, Kevin A. Adams joined Mortenson Taggart LLP as a partner.
Mr. Adams is a trial lawyer and a California Certified Franchise Expert through the State Bar of California. Mr. Adams’ practice focuses primarily on representing franchisors, manufacturers and distributors in litigation throughout the United States. Mr. Adams also represents clients in employment lawsuits, including wage and hour class actions, wrongful termination lawsuits, and discrimination actions.
Mr. Adams will lead the Mortenson Taggart LLP Franchise and Distribution practice group. Mr. Adams is recognized as a leader in the franchise legal community. He is an active member and former Co-Chair of the California Lawyers Association Franchise Law Committee and a regular author and speaker on franchise, distribution and competition issues, including authoring articles for the Franchise Law Journal, the American Bar Association Litigation Journal, and the State Bar of California’s Business Law News. Mr. Adams also is a recipient of the Franchise Times “Legal Eagle” award and has been recognized as a “Super Lawyer” in the areas of Franchise and Dealership law.
