Denetta E.J. Scott is an experienced litigator, handling all aspects of litigation in the areas of commercial litigation, automotive litigation, consumer warranty, employment law, personal injury, premises liability, and real estate litigation.
Denetta has successfully litigated personal injury defense claims, handling hundreds of cases to a successful conclusion, whether through mediation, arbitration, or dispositive motion. Denetta also is an experienced trial attorney, having second chaired a personal injury jury trial and a breach of contract jury trial – both of which resulted in defense verdicts for Denetta’s clients. The breach of contract action also resulted a substantial attorney’s fee award for Denetta’s client.
Denetta is licensed to practice before all the courts in the State of California, all of the United States District Courts in California and the State Bar of the District of Columbia. She is also a member of the Orange County Bar Association, the Orange County Women Lawyers Association, California Women Lawyers, and the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel.
